This phone was everything I wanted but when it arrived, I saw that it did not have a caller ID screen. I think that in 2010 people assume that a feature like caller ID will be included in a phone, especially one with so many other features.
I like the Phone, but the additional dodads don't respond so I am disconnecting them.

I only wanted a basic telephone and thought with hold time having a speaker would be a plus. Easy to set up low tone, shut off the ring soft and loud ring. If a call comes in it flashes and I findwhen on hold for customer service the speaker is great to have. You do need to put in 3 batteries however having the red flash is neat if you don't wish a loud ring. The soft ring is pleasant and the big numbersnot so bad either.
I like the phone. The speaker is very clear and volume increases sufficiently for "soft talkers" to be heard.
